Bilee Jo Grable - Piper High School Head Principal

Bilee Jo Grable, the Principal of Piper High School, dedicated to creating a collaborative and thriving learning environment for all students. With 27 years in education and 13 years in administration, she is committed to fostering success for every student through equitable access to education. Her leadership style is personable and authentic, emphasizing the importance of home-school communication for student success. 

Dr. Taylor Mapp - Assistant Principal / Activities Director

Dr. Mapp, the current Assistant Principal/Athletics & Activities Director at Piper High School since August 2021, has a decade of experience in the education field. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology Education and has pursued advanced degrees from Pittsburg State University and Concordia University Chicago.

Before transitioning to an administrative role, Dr. Mapp taught various science courses at multiple schools and coached cross country and track teams, including at the collegiate level. He is married to Ramey Mapp, a kindergarten teacher at Piper Prairie Elementary School.

Robert Cave, Jr. - Piper High School Assistant Principal

Robert Cave

Starting his second year as an assistant principal at PHS, Robert Cave serves as the high school Academy Coordinator and in Curriculum & Instruction. With over 25 years of experience in Kansas, he has taught various subjects and served in leadership roles. Mr. Cave received the Norman I. Reist Teaching Excellence Award in 2014. He aims to create a safe and nurturing educational environment for both staff and students, guided by shared values and beliefs. Living in Olathe with his family, he enjoys music, movies, reading, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.

Kelsey Anselmi- Piper High School Assistant Principal

Kelsey Anselmi

Kelsey Anselmi, a dedicated educator from Olathe, has a strong academic background. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education from Benedictine College and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Emporia State University.

With over a decade of teaching and coaching experience across multiple states, Kelsey has shown her commitment to student learning. Before becoming assistant principal, she taught math at the high school and middle school levels and served as a math instructional coach.
